Place dice to earn as many points as you can in 5 minutes!

Each die you place increases your income by the number of pips on the die.

Rules:

Red dice are placed in the red section. They must form a connected group. They can only be adjacent to dice that are exactly one higher or one lower.

Orange dice can be placed in any of the three rows in the orange section. You must complete the rows from left to right, following the symbols.  The middle row unlocks more dice.

Yellow dice are placed anywhere in the yellow section. Each column and 2x2 square can only contain one of each number.

Act quickly and don't let the number of dice get out of control, because leaving too many dice unplaced will end the game early.

Good luck!

Interesting, but maybe add a mode without time limit so people can learn the game as it is kinda overwhelming in the beginning.

A few times when I got many dice the game would end before the time was over. I suspect that going over the dice limit was causing it. Is it intentional?

I agree that this game needs a tutorial/non-timed mode. I'll add it once the jam that I've submitted to has finished its rating process.

There is a dice limit that triggers the end of the game, to encourage players to act fast, and also fit the theme of the game jam - 'Out of Control'. It is intentional,  I just hadn't mentioned it anywhere ...

Thanks for playing - I hope you enjoyed it 😊

Interesting design choice, but I think I would enjoy it more if there was no dice limit. Maybe you could simply remove the oldest dice when too many are added.

Some other things: Add a label that shows the highscore when the game is over.

Sometimes the drag and drop fails even though the move should be legal. Doesn't happen too often and mostly in the yellow field.

I did! And beat the highscore! I like the concept and I hope you expand and polish it after the jam. Good luck!

actualy would be more fun if the timer was the dice limit and you just have to keep up with your dice, would be kind of satisfying i tend not to get enough dice to finish a section by the time limit
